Charles Rose designed the Charlton College of Business building.
“The size of the new building is small in comparison to the massive and connected volumes of the original brutalist structures. With an existing library, the College of Business frames a new south-facing open space. Resting on a precast concrete base, the college is a blocklike cantilevered bar – counterweight to the active, sculptural facades of Rudolph’s buildings.”
