The Campus Center is the only building on campus for which architect Paul Rudolph had an exclusive contract. In creating the master plan and designing all of the other early buildings, he worked in conjunction with the Boston firm, Desmond and Lord. When he returned as the designer for the Dion Building, he worked with another firm, Whitney Norcross Atwood.
