| Abstract | "In other action, the board authorized the hiring of nationally prominent architect Paul Rudolph and the Birmingham architectural firm of Gresham, Smith & Partners to design an art museum for the Auburn campus." Rudolph died well before this project got underway. Gresham, Smith & Partners designed the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art which was opened in 2003. |
