Abstract | Ms Baldwin was the Head of the Reference Department at the Guilford Free Library when she emailed these comments to me. "I spoke with Edith Nettleton, who had been the librarian here since 1934. She said that Paul Rudolph was the consultant to the Building Committee convened in the 1960s, and helped with site evaluation. He never did any design. There was a subsequent Building Committee whose work resulted in our present building, constructed in the 1970s." |
