Metal mesh curtains were installed in all of the buildings during the first phase of construction (1966-1972) at the UMass Dartmouth campus. Nearly all have been taken down including the set pictured here originally in the second floor lounge of the Violette Research Building. A few panels were still hanging in the Group 2 lounges as of 2007. This photograph shows the decorative side of the curtain.
